Acupuncture for sleeping issues
Sleep issues are common in both men and women who come to our clinic. These issues include insomnia, which is difficulty falling asleep, waking in the night and finding it hard to get back to sleep, and waking earlier than you want to, and not being able to get back to sleep.
Sleep issues can impact your everyday life affecting your stress levels, mood, making you feel irritable or fatigued during the day. Lack of sleep can also affect your hormonal balance and menstrual cycle. Getting enough sleep is also important for fertility in both women and men.
Acupuncture is often used for treating sleep issues – research studies have shown that acupuncture may have a beneficial effect for insomnia.[25]

individual. We usually combine Chinese herbal medicine with acupuncture in or treatment protocols for insomnia and sleep issues.
